HOW TO ADJUST DRAPERY HEM
A step-by-step guide to calibrate your drapery for a custom fit
All Thoa Home drapery panels come with curtain hooks pre-attached for easy installation. Our standard hooks are crafted for durability and allow simple height adjustments when needed. Adjustable curtain hooks are also available upon request when placing your order.

1. LOCATE THE ADJUSTMENT TAB
On the back of your panel, you’ll find a vertical fabric tab. Our hooks are housed in these tabs to keep the hardware discreet and the front of the drape clean.
-
2. NOTE THE CURRENT POSITION
Your hooks arrive pre-installed in the Top Notch. This provides the standard hanging length.
-
3. ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT
To raise the hem, slide the hook out and re-insert it into a lower notch. Each level down raises the curtain by approximately ½ inch.
-
4. IN-BETWEEN SIZES?
If your curtains need an adjustment smaller than ½ inch, use sharp fabric scissors to make a small horizontal snip across the tab at your desired height.
-
5. REPOSITION THE HOOK
Slide the white hook out of its current position. Re-insert the pointed end into your new lower cut, sliding it upward into the pocket until it sits securely.
-
6. LEVEL AND RESET
Ensure every hook on the panel is moved to the same level to maintain a perfectly straight hem.
